Burhani or Borhani is a Bangladeshi traditional drink that tastes like yogurt. Burhani is the ideal drink for the summer. It is considered by some to be a type of lassi.


Ingredients

 .5 Kilogram Plain Yoghurt
 1/4 teaspoon White pepper powder
 1/2 tablespoon Mustard Powder
 1/2 teaspoon paste made from fresh mint leaves 
1/4 teaspoon Red Chili PowderPowdered Roasted Cumin, 
1/4 teaspoon 
1/4 teaspoon Roasted Coriander Powder
 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Paste
 1/2 teaspoon Green Chili Paste
 1 tablespoon Sugar
 1 teaspoon Black Salt
 to taste N/a Salt
 1/2 Cup Water

Directions

 Whisk the yogurt thoroughly. In a blender add mint leaves, coriander leaves, chopped green chili and minced ginger.  Blend till smooth. Then add roasted coriander powder, cumin powder, mustard seeds powder, white pepper powder, sugar and black salt.  Add water and whisked yogurt to the blender once more. Whizz until frothy.
 Let it cool down in the refrigerator. Keep it cold.
