who was eliminated on dancing with the stars

Another week, another dazzling dance-off in the ballroom! But the magic of "Wick edNight" was quickly overshadowed by a truly heartbreaking elimination that left fans—and us—absolutely stunned. Yes, you read that right. The latest couple to hang up their dancing shoes on Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars is none other than the incredibly charismatic duo: Scott Hoying and his pro partner, Rylee Arnold.

The Emotional Goodbye

The air in the ballroom was thick with emotion as hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro announced the couple in the bottom. Despite an intensely moving Contemporary routine to "The Wizard and I," which Scott dedicated to his love for the musical, their combined scores from last week and this week, along with the audience votes, weren't enough to keep them safe.

Their "Wicked Night" performance was beautiful, heartfelt, and showed how much Scott has grown, but the judges awarded them a 28/40. Ultimately, this proved to be their last dance. After the shocking announcement, Pentatonix star Scott Hoying was nothing but gracious.

Wicked Night's Highs and Lows

While we mourn the loss of Scott and Rylee, the night was also filled with sensational highs!

  • 10s, 10s, 10s! We saw the first perfect 10s of the season! Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas absolutely slayed with their Quickstep to "Popular," earning a near-perfect 39.

  • A Rumba for the Ages! Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa tied the top score with their stunning and graceful Rumba to "For Good," proving they are serious contenders for the Mirrorball.

But the real shocker is that Scott and Rylee found themselves eliminated despite being fan favorites and not the absolute lowest on the leaderboard (Andy Richter was at the bottom with a total of 51 points). It just goes to show how fierce the fan voting is this season!
